Science taboo for Republicans seeking White HouseMany Republican candidates vying for their party’s nod dismiss science in favor of strong evangelical faith, playing to a hardline conservative electorate. Only one of the White House contenders, former Utah governor Jon Huntsman, has come out with force to proclaim a belief in man-made climate change, as he condemned his party’s hostility to science.

“hostility to science” is a retarded thing to say. The situation is not hostility to science and using that phrase comes off to anyone as saying “what I believe is science and all of science”. This of course is not true. There are scientists and evidences on both sides; no side should think they are allowed to call the other “anti-science”. Doing that would be entirely… anti-science. It’s funny to watch the silly use of those labels as if people cannot see through them.
